Berne Bag Lots of Style AND Lots of Room

GREAT, classic leather Berne handbag made in tote-bay style. It opens and closes at the top with a metal hexagon frame, operated with springs. The lining is heavy, navy blue faille. One inside pocket. Roundish-padded leather handles have a 5 1/2" drop. Open pockets on the outside front of the bag, self-lined with the leather's own suede. Reinforced base with tiny brass feet. Bag measures 10" wide at the base, by 12" wide at the top, by 10" high, by 3" deep. You can't really tell, but I think the leather is midnight blue. (It looks black, but the manufacturers usually used navy lining with very dark blue leather.) MINT condition, perhaps never carried. (Marked down from $88.00.)
