Heavy Glass Mold--Angel Food Cake?

Very heavy glass mold. My best guess is that it's for angel food cake, but actually it may be for Jello? Ribbed around the sides. Center arm/post/whatever is closed at the top and is fairly wide. 9" across by 2.5" high. Center post is 4" across. This is an ol piece--many small imperfections in the glass. Mint--no chips, holes, cracks, etc. (Marked down from $20.00.)
