Set of exquisite hand towels in pale yellow and pale green. Extremely fine linen with a fine organdy and petit point medallion inserted. The insert stitching is almost as beautiful as the satin stitch frame that surrounds the medallion. Hem under the embroidery is faggoting and buttonhole stitch. The rest of the towel has a tiny, tightly hand rolled hem. 13 1/2" by 19 1/4". Both towels are absolutely mint, never used. Both for this price.
